Everything You Need to Know

The Harpoon II is a 42-foot Egg Harbor vessel powered by twin diesel motors. It is set up to roll 20+ lines trolling. It has a multiple proven tournament winning crew with over 20 years of experience on the bay, and the crew has multiple top ten finishes in tournaments.  We are ultra-competitive all the time, but at the same time we are family friendly for a great fishing experience on the Chesapeake Bay

Captain Mike Liberatore has more than 20 years of experience fishing on the Chesapeake Bay.  He is also licensed by the United States Coast Guard, and makes safety his number one priority.

Harpoon II Charters is licensed to accommodate up to 6 passengers. The cost of your full day of fishing is $800.00, and a deposit of $250.00 will confirm your reservation.  It is also customary to give the mate a 20% gratuity on the day of the trip. Harpoon II leaves the dock at 6:00 A.M. (weather permitting) to maximize your day’s experience.

Deposit checks should be made payable to:  Hooks and Hammers LLC  and mailed to:  Captain Mike Liberatore at 5 Charles Carroll Court,  Port Deposit, MD 21904.

The Captain will contact you the day before your scheduled trip if weather conditions may affect your trip. Trips cancelled by the captain will be rescheduled, if possible, with no additional costs or penalties. Clients needing to cancel must notify the Captain at least one week prior to the charter date. If the trip can be rescheduled, your deposit will be applied. If the trip cannot be rescheduled, the deposit will be forfeited.  Less than one week’s notice will result in forfeit of the deposit.

The Harpoon II is docked at Tolchester Marina located at 21085 Tolchester Beach Rd, Chestertown, MD 21620. Chestertown, MD is within a two hour drive of Baltimore, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and Wilmington.

Overnight accommodations and restaurants are available in Chestertown and nearby Rock Hall, MD
